This Pokemon day was extraordinary; the Pokemon company finally announced the much anticipated 9th generation of main series Pokemon games. They will be called Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. A trailer was also released, which gave us some information about what to expect from this brand new game.

In this blog post, we will be giving you a  basic rundown of the games, bits of information that tell us a lot about the game, followed by what its release date will be. So without further ado, let's get right into it!. 

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Pokmon Scarlet and violet will be based in Spain and Portugal, two countries. The region’s map is almost confirmed to be similar to Spain's. Plus, the starter’s name, is derived from Spanish. Even the climate and region look very much like a Spanish city.

Next up, we have the starters, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. No further Evos were shown in the game. The game is also confirmed to be an open-world title, unlike Legends Arceus, where we had small wild areas. This time the wild areas will integrate into the cities.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Release Date

Now to the most critical part, when will the game be released. The Pokemon Company has made it very clear that the game will be in late 2022. This gives a solid hint. Every time Pokemon releases a game late into the year, it releases in November, around Thanksgiving. So that’s the release date, guys, and it’s pretty much the final one.
