How to get the Mace in Minecraft – ARTKEMON

How to get the Mace in Minecraft

The Mace is a brand-new weapon added in the Minecraft 1.21 update, and it's a welcome addition. We rarely see anything new related to combat in Minecraft, so a fresh weapon is a great addition, especially considering how combat in Minecraft can feel a bit lacking at times.

New weapons like the Mace can really spice up the combat experience. In today's blog post, we'll shed light on this new weapon—what it is, how to obtain it, how to use it, and much more. If that interests you and you want to wield this brand-new melee weapon, let's get into it.

The Mace?

The Mace is a giant hammer-like melee weapon that functions just like any other melee weapon in the game, allowing you to attack your foes directly. But the Mace isn't just your average run-of-the-mill melee weapon that you spam attack with.

No, the Mace has a very powerful ability. When you attack with the Mace, you can deal area damage—basically splash damage. The impact and intensity of the attack increase the higher you fall from. So basically, just jump and attack, and you'll deal more damage.

A new technique that players are using involves using the Breeze to launch themselves into the air and then smashing down with the Mace. If mastered, you can defeat a lot of enemies in PvP with this technique.

How to Get the Mace

Items Needed

Before you can craft the Mace, you'll need some items—a Heavy Core and a Breeze Rod. Both of these items can be obtained from the Trial Chambers, a brand-new dungeon type added in the 1.21 update.

The Heavy Core can be found in vaults, and the Breeze Rod can be obtained by defeating the Breeze mini boss.

Here's the recipe for it, and that's all there is to it.

The Mace is a very fun new weapon but can be tedious to obtain because the Trial Chambers are filled with lots of challenges.

Overall, it's a great addition, and the way of obtaining it adds a very fun new mechanic to the game. And that's all there is to know about the Mace—consider yourself a Mace expert now!
