In this easy-to-follow guide, we'll take you from the Overworld to the End dimension, where you can defeat the dragon and claim the Elytra. Let's get right into it!
Preparation:
Before we set off for the End dimension, there are a few things we need to access it. First, we need to find the stronghold where the End portal is located. Then, we need Eyes of Ender to activate the portal. Let's start with crafting the Eyes of Ender. The recipe is quite simple: one Ender Pearl and one Blaze Powder will give you Eyes of Ender. We suggest crafting at least 10-15 of these—you'll understand why soon.
Gear Up:
Yes, put on your best gear, take all your potions or whatever else you need to fight the dragon. Also, carry a chest and a bed with you.
Start Your Journey:
Now, let's find the stronghold. The location of strongholds is hidden underground, so you won't just stumble upon one. But, with the Eyes of Ender, they practically act as guides. Just throw an Eye of Ender into the sky and see where it goes. Sometimes the Eyes break, which is why we suggested carrying extras. Once you find the stronghold, locate the portal. Beware, strongholds are filled with hostile mobs.
Activate the Portal:
Once you locate the portal room, place the remaining Eyes of Ender on the portal blocks, and voila! The portal will be activated. Next, secure the portal room, place your bed, put your valuables in the chest, set your respawn point in the stronghold, and leave any items you might not want to take through the portal in the chest.
